Civic Tower of Cuneo

Don't miss the unique opportunity to climb to the top of Cuneo's Civic Tower and admire a spectacular panorama that stretches from the western end of the Maritime Alps to the majestic peaks of the Pennine Alps.

The history of this tower dates back to as far as 1317, when Cuneo and Mondovì sealed their peace, and even today on its exterior wall you can see a faithful reproduction of the 1824 fresco and Latin inscription celebrating the magnificence of the city of Cuneo.

Located in the heart of the historic center, the Civic Tower stands out with its square-based structure, dominating the cityscape. A staggering 52 meters high, from its belfry there is a breathtaking view, stretching from the rooftops and squares of the city to the gentle slopes of the Langhe, and then getting lost among the imposing peaks of Monte Rosa.

Accompanied by an experienced tour guide, visitors can comfortably ascend to the third floor by elevator, and then tackle the last 30 steps leading to the magnificent balcony surrounded by white columns, from which a breathtaking view of the entire Alpine arc can be admired.
